In the summer of 2020, the Putnam Arts Council in Mahopac, NY announced a contest challenging artists to paint their favorite spots in Putnam County. I'm happy to announce that my painting, A Woman on a Mission (Statue of Sibyl Ludington), won Best in Show. I show it here, along with some other paintings I made in response to the contest.
